Mojica is a visionary technical executive and a research and development expert with significant real-world experience in major corporation’s systems information management, commercial software sector, and professional consulting and services sector. His work efforts have utilized expertise in the fields of electronic records compliance, risk management, social sciences, long-term digital preservation, legal discovery and a demonstrated expertise in the health-care sector for location awareness and hand-hygiene compliance monitoring. Mojica has achieved multiple successes in creating, building and launching enterprise class commercial software products for domestic and international markets. He has deep expertise in the financial services, acute health-care sectors, corporate infrastructure, and commercial software development.
Mojica currently serves as the Founder/CEO & President at Integrity6, a (SaaS) software company in the School Information Management industry, with a focus on charter school solutions to maximize a schools state funding through computer aided student enrollment, lottery and waitlist management. In his leadership capacity Peter manages all operational aspects of the company, and is responsible for the product vision, architecture, cloud platform, development, sales, marketing, business development and customer service.
He previously served as the founding Chief Technology Officer for BioVigil Healthcare Systems, Inc. (Ann Arbor, MI.), a leading provider of hand-hygiene electronic monitoring and compliance solutions for infection control in healthcare. BioVigil designs, develops and manufactures wearable computer technology worn primarily by nurses and doctors, networking equipment and software to assist hospitals in reducing healthcare-associated infections through electronic monitoring for hand-washing compliance. Peter has been responsible for orchestrating and driving the company’s product vision, innovation, technology, architecture and overall product strategy. He holds a patent in this industry and he continues to use his expertise in the healthcare arena and remains active in Health-care Acquired Infection HAI mitigation where he brings 25+ years of high-tech experience and a broad range of engineering, technology, business management and strategic insights.
Prior to BioVigil, Mojica served as an Advisory Board member, and was later asked by the CEO to accept a full-time role as VP of Product Strategy and Management for Awarepoint Corporation (San Diego, CA), a leading provider of enterprise awareness and Real Time Location Solutions (RTLS) for major healthcare systems. At Awarepoint Mojica instituionalized and led Product Management for the development of all software and hardware products. He led a companywide transformation to re-position the company from a network hardware and device provider to an enterprise class software solution provider.
Prior to joining Awarepoint, Mojica was recruited by the Board a publicly traded software company, AXS-One, to start a new enterprise class software and services business for the emerging email archiving, file archiving, regulatory compliance and eDiscovery industries. AXS-One was a publicly traded software company located in Rutherford, NJ. From the beginning of AXS-One’s entry into the email archival industry Peter developed and led AXS-One’s compliance solutions business, product strategy and technical platform and applications architecture for digital archival, long-term management of electronic records, regulatory compliance and legal discovery with a focus on electronic communications such as e-mail, instant messaging, office documents and transactional systems generated data for worldwide enterprises. He served as the SVP and General Manager, leading all facets of product strategy, product management, product development, global partner strategy, analyst relations, business development, mergers/acquisitions, and marketing. During his six plus years at AXS-One, Mojica led the company’s exponential growth to a 1,200% increase in stock value over a short two year period. During Mojica’s visionary leadership, the company’s newly developed software product lines obtained successive large direct customer wins at many of the Fortune 500 and attracted world class technolggy partner companies around the globe, growing revenues from $2 million to nearly $100 million (see stock rise).
At AXS-One, Peter also worked closely with and advised the firm’s major customers and strategic partners (EDS, British Telecom, Sun Microsystems) in their technological direction, product positioning and use of AXS-One's electronic records archival and long term storage technologies for positioning, and integrating with other product and services within their corporations to enhance their storage, data center, server and services portfolios. His product innovations led the industry for email archival - recognized by Gartner as the Leader in the Visionary category of the Magic Quadrant's for Active Email Archival and Integrated Document Archive and Retrieval Systems. AXS-One was sold and the software products that Peter developed is currently owned and marketed by OpenText
As a 25+ year Information Technology veteran of the financial services, consulting and commercial software industries Mojica has held key executive positions in the software, consulting, services and corporate sectors – including Vice President of Research & Development for First Union National Bank Capital Markets (currently Wells Fargo), located in Charlotte, NC., where he led advanced technology teams in creating strategic leverage of technology within the banking and financial markets. His organizational responsibility included a multi-divisional unit within First Union/Capital Markets with charters to service both enterprise wide infrastructure technology standards and capital markets business unit’s technology requirements throughout the firm.
In New York City, Peter was a Managing Director with RCG Information Technology, the technology arm of Reliance Insurance Co. He also worked at diverse Fortune 500 companies in various information management capacities and served in executive information and IT management roles at Nomura Securities, British Airways, CS First Boston, and Chemical Bank.

Vaporstream (Chicago, IL): As the Chief Strategy Officer and CIO for a confidential messaging product similar to ‘Snapchat’ however for corporate usage and real recordless messaging. He led the initial commercialization and development of the company's product strategy, system architecture/design and market value proposition to major corporations for recordless communications and he developed a patent in support of anonymous messaging. CreekPath Systems (Boulder CO): as the CSO (Chief Solutions Architect) he was responsible for developing and championing the company’s heterogeneous storage management vision and technology both internally and externally to major customers, prospects and industry analysts. The company was acquired by Opsware.
Selectica Inc., (San Jose, CA): Here Peter served both in engineering and senior management capacities – leading global pre-sales engineering, and working with major channel partners in developing software solution practices for using complex rules based systems within the financial services, manufacturing, telecom and other vertical markets. His major channel partners served were KPMG and Anderson Consulting.
Mojica’s early career accomplishments are in the area of developing 4GL compilers, email migration utilities, code generators for database management systems and computer applications for complex legal settlement and legal case management systems for the automotive products liability industry.
Early in his career he served in full-time capacities at Wall Street law-firm Herzfeld & Rubin P.C. located in NYC, he led the firm’s computer system development of case, interrogatory, expert witness and records management systems and document access strategies for worldwide complex automotive product liability defense claims which included special records archival projects for video classification for NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). And, at Sargoy, Stein Rosen & Shapiro located in NYC, where he developed records and analytical computer management systems for anti-trust claims in the motion picture industry where damage periods and records analysis averaged 25 year periods.
Mr. Mojica is the founding President of the Charlotte Area Chapter for the Society of Information Management (SIM).
As a member of the Storage Networking Industry Association, he has led many initiatives and served as Chair and co-Chair for the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA)-Data Management Forum. At SNIA he co-developed and published the ground breaking “100 Year Archive Survey Requirements” study and contributed to the Blue Ribbon Task Force research paper on “Sustainable Digital Preservation and Access”, led by a 17-member group of experts from economics, computer science, libraries, archives, museums, with funding and support from the U.S. National Science Foundation and Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
He is an experienced Board Member, and provides pro-bono parliamentary training and counsel to school boards. He currently serves as an Advisory Board member to Agingo Inc., a software company in the blockchain sector. And he has served as a member of the Technology and Advisory Boards of Xandros , a leading Linux-based operating environment, Scalix Corporation an open source messaging and calendaring solution, Awarepoint, and he has served for 6 years as Board Chair for a NC based public charter school.
